In March, 2004, I purchased Magnetic Paper Dolls, Inc. from the original owners and creators, Ralph and Susan Giffin. They had started the business 10 years before in Azalea, Oregon. It is my plan to continue in their tradition of selling to specialty stores across the United States, as well as to retail customers from this website.

I have long background and strong interest in promoting traditional and imaginative toys for generations to come. I had 10 years of Waldorf education, a German schooling system fostering childhood curiosity, creativity and imaginative, tactical learning methods. In addition, I had 3 years of home schooling in high school, in which I designed and developed my own course of study together with my parents and my correspondence teachers and counselors.

Throughout my teenage and college years, I worked in my mother’s toy store, Ginger and Pickles, in Boulder, CO. The Waldorf and European spirit of natural fiber, memorable toys inspired her to start a store to provide these toys to the local community. Working with her, I fell in love with Magnetic Paper Dolls, which were one of her products.

When I learned Magnetic Paper Dolls, Inc. was for sale, I was very excited and inspired to start my own business venture. I am proud to continue providing Magnetic Paper Dolls to children and adults across the country. Thank you very much for your patronage.

About Our Products

These original refrigerator dress-up dolls are inspired by classic paper doll designs. Choose from our 18 different designs to give a charming, sentimental gift to adults, or a delightful, memorable toy for children.

Magnetic paper dolls are lovely as a decoration or as a toy. Liven any metallically adherent appliance such as a filing cabinet, refrigerator, washer or dryer. What a great waiting room, office or kitchen toy! They require no clean up and virtually no space. Use magnetic paint to turn an entire wall into a playing surface, or buy one of our blank magnetic playing boards that can be colored, customized and personalized into the perfect travel toy for the car, train or plane.

We are a small company, but we will do our best to offer you the best discount on bulk orders to help with your fundraising mission. Wholesale

We welcome new wholesale clients. If your store qualifies for wholesale purchasing, please fax us a copy of:

• your business license,
• your wholesale number, EIN or sales tax license,
• a copy of your credit card and

the names of two credit references if you wish to purchase our items on credit for net 30 terms.
You are required to have a credit card on file whether or not you intend to pay by credit card. Upon receipt of your information, we will provide you with a brochure, wholesale pricelist and additional resources for making magnetic paper dolls a successful item in your store. Special Orders

Are you interested in making a promotional item or making customized magnets? Your special orders are welcome! In order to provide you with the most accurate estimate and the most efficient service for your special order, please fax a copy of the artwork you wish to use along with our customer questionnaire. (Even a rough sketch of your idea would be helpful.) Tip: If you require that they be cut out by machine, the smaller and more detailed the outline of your drawings, the more expensive the magnets become.

Waiting Room & Office Toys

Magnetic Paper Dolls make an excellent office or waiting room toy because they occupy relatively little space and they never need to be cleaned up. Conservatively hang a magnetic playing board in the corner, on the side of a desk, or paint a wall with magnetic paint to provide a larger playing surface for children.
